This may include information such as your device Internet Protocol (IP) address, browser type and version, the pages of our Service that you visit, the time and date of your visit and the time spent on those pages.

This data is produced by the hosting provider for security and reliability. We do not use it to build a profile of you, and we do not combine it with the information you give us.

Why we are allowed to use it

Under the GDPR every use of personal data needs a lawful basis. Ours are:

• Performance of a contract, for everything needed to arrange and provide your rental.
• Legal obligation, for insurance records, tax documents and information we must give to the authorities.
• Legitimate interest, for keeping the fleet and our clients safe, including driver checks.
• Your consent, for the newsletter, which you can withdraw at any time.

How long we keep it

We keep rental records for as long as the law requires us to hold them, and enquiry correspondence only for as long as it is useful to you and to us. Newsletter subscriptions are kept until you unsubscribe.

Your rights

Because we operate in the European Union, you may ask us to:

• Show you the data we hold about you.
• Correct anything that is wrong.
• Delete data we no longer need to keep.
• Restrict or object to a particular use.
• Send your data to you or to someone else in a portable form.
• Withdraw consent you gave earlier.

Our Service does not address anyone under the age of 18, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If we discover that a child has provided us with personal information, we delete it immediately.

We may update this policy from time to time. Changes are posted on this page, and the date at the top changes with them. If a change affects you materially, we will say so rather than leave you to notice it.
