Every rate includes comprehensive insurance, free delivery and collection, and 150 km per day. The security deposit is €5,000.
The car is a 2022 Audi R8 with a 620 hp petrol V10 and two seats, based in Marbella. The rate is the same on any day of the week, weekends included, and the minimum hire is one full day. There is no hourly rental. The page for the Audi R8 in our fleet shows the current price ladder and the booking request form.
| Length of hire | Price per day | Example total |
|---|---|---|
| 1 day | €650 | €650 |
| 2 days | €650 | €1,300 for 2 days |
| 3 to 6 days | €600 | €1,800 for 3 days |
| 7 to 14 days | €550 | €3,850 for 7 days |

How much do you save on a longer hire?
The saving starts on day three. A long three-day weekend comes to €1,800, against €1,950 at the one-day rate. Over a week you save €700 compared with paying €650 every day, and over a month the €450 rate brings the total to €13,500 instead of €19,500. So it pays to ask for a price on your exact dates, even if they are not final yet.

What is included in the Audi R8 rental price?
The daily price of the Audi R8 covers the car and the whole service around the hire, and the rate of the most expensive car in the fleet includes exactly the same as the rate of the cheapest one. Nothing on this list is charged on top, whether you rent for a day or for a month:
- comprehensive insurance for the whole hire;
- free delivery and collection in Marbella, Puerto Banús and Málaga Airport, at the time you choose;
- a full clean before handover;
- 150 km for every day of the hire;
- a single phone number for the whole rental.
Sotogrande is possible on request, on terms agreed when you book. The car can be handed over at the airport terminal and collected from a villa, or the other way round, at the same price. You can also book the Audi R8 with a chauffeur: ask when you book, give the dates, hours and route, and the chauffeur terms are confirmed in writing with the rate.
Fuel is not included and works full to full. The car arrives with a full tank and goes back full, or we refuel it for you at the pump price. Also outside the price are kilometres beyond the daily 150, plus traffic fines and tolls, which the renter pays together with the cost of processing them.
How much is the deposit and how many kilometres are included?
The deposit on the Audi R8 is €5,000. It is held on a credit card in the main driver's name at handover and released once the car is back and has been checked. Nothing is charged, the amount is only held, and how long the released amount takes to show as available depends on your bank. Our article on how the security deposit works on a luxury car hire covers the details.
- The insurance excess
- is the part of the cost of any damage that the renter covers under the comprehensive insurance. On the Audi R8, as on the rest of the fleet, the excess depends on the model and appears in your booking confirmation, next to the deposit, before you pay anything.
The included mileage is 150 km a day: 450 km over three days, 1,050 km in a week and 4,500 km in a month. Each extra kilometre in the Audi R8 costs €5, so 100 km over the allowance adds €500. If you plan a long drive, for example to Seville or Granada, tell us beforehand and we will price the hire with the expected distance built in.
What kind of car is the Audi R8 V10?
The Audi R8 is a two-seat sports car with its engine mounted behind the seats, built by Audi from 2006 to 2024. The second generation, known as the Type 4S, shares its platform and engine with the Lamborghini Huracán, according to the Audi R8 (Type 4S) article on Wikipedia. Audi ended production in 2024, which makes it one of the last supercars with a naturally aspirated V10.
The 620 hp output matches the V10 performance quattro version, with quattro all-wheel drive. The car in our fleet is a 2022 model based in Marbella, and the factory figures for that version, taken from the same Wikipedia article, are in the table below:
| Factory figure | Audi R8 V10 performance quattro |
|---|---|
| Engine | 5,204 cc naturally aspirated V10 |
| Power | 620 hp (456 kW) |
| Peak torque | 580 Nm |
| 0 to 100 km/h | 3.1 seconds |
| Top speed | 330 km/h |
| Gearbox | 7-speed S tronic dual-clutch |
| Drive | All-wheel drive (quattro) |
| Seats | 2 |
The numbers are dramatic, yet in town the Audi R8 is easy to live with. The dual-clutch gearbox is automatic, so there is no clutch pedal in Marbella's traffic, and quattro spreads the power across all four wheels. The Carvago comparison of the Audi R8 and the Lamborghini Huracán points to its Magnetic Ride adaptive dampers and calls it surprisingly comfortable by supercar standards.

How does it compare with the Lamborghini Huracán EVO?
The Lamborghini Huracán EVO in our fleet uses the same 5.2-litre V10 in a stronger state of tune: 640 hp and 0 to 100 km/h in 2.9 seconds. Price is the main difference. The Lamborghini Huracán EVO costs €1,200 for one day and €850 a day from 30 days, against €650 and €450 for the Audi R8.
For a single day the Audi R8 is €550 cheaper than its Italian sibling, and over a 30-day hire the gap reaches €12,000. The deposit is the same on both, €5,000, as are the 150 km a day and the €5 charge per extra kilometre. Same V10, smaller bill. That is the whole sum.

What are the driver requirements?
To drive the Audi R8 you must be 25 or older and have held a driving licence for at least three years. The rule is the same for the main driver and for additional drivers, who are insured on the same terms and must be named before handover. Only the people listed in the rental agreement may drive. Four documents are checked at handover:
- a driving licence for each driver, held for at least three years;
- a passport or national ID card for each driver;
- a credit card in the main driver's name, for the deposit;
- an International Driving Permit, if the licence was issued outside the EU.
Spain's traffic authority, the DGT, explains on its page about driving in Spain with a foreign licence that licences issued in the EU and the EEA are valid in Spain while they remain in force. The full list is in our guide to the documents you need to rent a car in Marbella.
How do you book the Audi R8, step by step?
Booking happens in writing, with no payment taken on the website. A request is not yet a booking: the Audi R8 is held for you once we confirm in writing. Availability and the price are confirmed the same day, and every figure is in writing before you pay:
- Send your dates, time and delivery address by WhatsApp, by phone or through the form on the car's page.
- Give the names of all drivers and, if you plan to visit Gibraltar or Portugal, your route.
- Receive a written confirmation the same day with the total price, the deposit and the insurance excess.
- At handover the documents are checked, the deposit is held and the agreement is signed, in about ten minutes.
- At the end, we collect the car wherever you are, check it and release the deposit.
Who is the Audi R8 for, and where can you drive it on the Costa del Sol?
The Audi R8 suits two people who want a supercar for a weekend on the coast or a trip around Andalusia. With two seats it does not work for families or groups, and for them the fleet has five-seat and seven-seat SUVs. For longer stays, the long-term rental page shows the monthly rates by category.
Spanish roads have clear limits. According to a DGT press release from August 2026, the general limit for cars is 120 km/h on motorways and dual carriageways and 90 km/h on ordinary roads, far below the 330 km/h the Audi R8 can reach. In town the general limit is 50 km/h on streets with two or more lanes each way and 30 km/h on single-lane streets, and traffic fines are paid by the renter.
The rental agreement also sets three rules that apply to every car in the fleet. Track days and driving courses are not allowed, the car cannot take the ferry to Morocco, and Gibraltar and Portugal are possible only if the trip is agreed with the insurer in advance. To check availability for your dates, write to us through the contact page and we will reply the same day.
