Mercedes rental Marbella: which model to pick and what it costs

The coastal fleet holds ten Mercedes: a convertible, a seven-seat V-Class, a long-wheelbase saloon, an AMG SUV and six G-Class models. How much does it cost to rent a Mercedes in Marbella?

One day in a fleet Mercedes costs between €300 and €1,200, depending on the model. The table runs from the cheapest car to the most expensive and shows where each one is based. The deposit is €4,000 or €5,000 where a fixed amount exists; for the other cars it appears in your written booking confirmation:

Mercedes-Benz Year Seats Power 0 to 100 km/h Fuel Base 1 day Deposit
CLE Cabrio 2026 4 381 PS 4.7 s Petrol Puerto Banús €300 In the confirmation
V-Class 2024 7 237 PS 7.4 s Diesel Marbella €500 €4,000

G63 AMG Brabus 800 2026 5 800 PS 4.0 s Petrol Marbella €1,200 €5,000

Price and acceleration part ways on this list. The CLE Cabrio is the cheapest car and reaches 100 km/h in 4.7 seconds, while the diesel G400 costs more than twice as much and takes 6.4. With a G400 you are paying for the G-Class body. The stopwatch belongs to the convertible.

Eight of the ten cars are based in Marbella; the CLE Cabrio and the G63 Black sit in Puerto Banús. Delivery is free from both bases, so the base only affects availability. Nothing is charged on the website: the total price, the deposit and the insurance excess for your dates are confirmed in writing before any payment.

Which Mercedes are available besides the G-Class?

Outside the G-Class, the coastal fleet has four very different Mercedes priced from €300 to €700 for one day. They split by body style and seat count: a four-seat convertible, a seven-seat V-Class, a five-seat saloon and a five-seat SUV. If you already know how many people are travelling, that alone often settles the choice.

CLE Cabrio

The CLE Cabrio is the only convertible among the ten and the cheapest Mercedes in the fleet at €300 for one day. This 2026 car has four seats and 381 PS. According to the Wikipedia entry on the Mercedes-Benz CLE, the cabriolet version arrived in April 2024 with an acoustic soft top. Only the one-day rate is published for this car, and longer rentals are quoted in writing.

V-Class

With seven seats, the 2024 V-Class is the only Mercedes in the fleet that keeps a group of that size in one car. It runs a 237 PS diesel and costs €500 for one day or €350 a day from 30 days, with a €4,000 deposit. Our guide to renting the V-Class in Marbella goes deeper.

S500 4MATIC Long

The S500 4MATIC Long is the saloon of the fleet: a 2021 car with five seats, 435 PS and a €700 one-day rate. The Wikipedia page on the W223 S-Class lists a 3,216 mm wheelbase for the long version, 110 mm more than the standard car, and an overall length of 5,289 mm. Our S500 Long rental guide explains how to book it with a chauffeur.

GLE53 AMG

At €650 for one day, the same as the G400, the 2026 GLE53 AMG gives you 119 PS more and a deposit €1,000 lower. This five-seat SUV makes 449 PS and reaches 100 km/h in 4.9 seconds. Our article on renting the GLE 53 AMG in Marbella sets out its rates and terms.

What is the G-Class and how do its six versions differ?

The G-Class is
the Mercedes-Benz off-roader that was developed as a military vehicle and has been built in Graz, Austria, since 1979, according to Wikipedia's G-Class article. The coastal fleet has six of them, all with five seats: one diesel G400, four petrol G63 AMGs and one G63 AMG Brabus 800. One day costs from €650 to €1,200.

The 2024 G400 is the entry point, with a 330 PS diesel and 6.4 seconds to 100 km/h. Another €200 a day moves you to the 2024 G63 AMG, with 585 PS and 4.4 seconds. Our comparison of the G400 and the G63 AMG covers the engines, prices and trade-offs between these two cars.

All four G63s share the same 585 PS and differ by year, finish, base and price. The 2023 Matte Black is the cheapest at €800 and a tenth of a second slower to 100 km/h than the others. Next comes the 2024 G63 at €850, then the two 2026 cars, Performance and Black, at €900. Only the 2024 car has published multi-day rates.

The Brabus 800 sits at the far end of the list with 800 PS and 4.0 seconds. The official BRABUS 800 Superblack page starts from the Mercedes-AMG G 63 and its 4.0-litre V8, fits two Brabus turbochargers and quotes 1,000 Nm and an electronically limited 240 km/h. Against the 2024 G63, you get 215 PS more and 0.4 seconds less for €350 more a day. Our article on the Brabus 800 and the Mercedes G63 compares them closely.

Which Mercedes should you choose for your trip?

All ten cars come with the same insurance and the same delivery, so your decision rests on seats, body style and budget. These suggestions come straight from the seat counts, prices and other figures in the tables of this article, so you can check each one yourself:

  • for open-air driving, the CLE Cabrio, the only convertible, with four seats and a €300 one-day rate;
  • for six or seven people, the V-Class at €500 for one day;
  • for a saloon with a chauffeur, the S500 4MATIC Long at €700 for one day, with the chauffeur requested when you book;
  • for a five-seat SUV at €650, the GLE53 AMG if acceleration matters more, or the G400 if you want the G-Class body;
  • for a diesel engine, the G400 or the V-Class, the only two on the list;
  • for a 585 PS V8 at the lowest one-day price, the G63 Matte Black at €800;
  • for the most power, the G63 AMG Brabus 800 with 800 PS.

Headcount narrows things down fast. Four people fit in any of the ten cars, five rules out the CLE Cabrio, and six or seven leave only the V-Class. After that, budget decides: with five seats, a day starts at €650 for the G400 or the GLE53 AMG, and the G-Class climbs in steps up to €1,200 for the Brabus 800.

Does the daily price drop on a longer rental?

Yes, on six of the ten cars. The V-Class, G400, GLE53 AMG, S500 Long, 2024 G63 and Brabus 800 each have a published rate for every rental length. For the CLE Cabrio, G63 Matte Black, G63 Performance and G63 Black, only the one-day rate is published, and the price of several days is confirmed in writing when you book.

Rental length, price per day V-Class G400 GLE53 AMG S500 Long G63 AMG (2024) Brabus 800
1 day €500 €650 €650 €700 €850 €1,200
2 days €500 €650 €650 €700 €850 €1,200

30 days or more €350 €450 €450 €500 €600 €850

At those rates, a week costs €2,975 in the V-Class, €3,850 in the G400 or the GLE53 AMG, €4,200 in the S500 Long, €5,250 in the G63 and €7,700 in the Brabus 800. Thirty days come to €10,500, €13,500, €15,000, €18,000 and €25,500 in that same order, with 4,500 km included.

What does the rate include and what deposit is held?

Every fleet rate includes comprehensive insurance for any rental length, delivery, collection, a full clean before handover and 150 km a day, which adds up to 1,050 km a week. Fuel is extra under the full-to-full rule, and traffic fines and tolls from the rental are paid by the renter. The insurance excess depends on the model and appears in your confirmation.

The deposit is held on a credit card in the main driver's name and released once the car has been returned and checked; it is not charged. It is €4,000 on the V-Class, S500 Long and GLE53 AMG, with extra kilometres at €4 each, and €5,000 on the G400, 2024 G63 and Brabus 800, with extra kilometres at €5. On the other four cars, both amounts appear in your booking confirmation.
