How does car delivery to Málaga Airport work?
MARBIORA delivers your car to the terminal of Málaga Airport free of charge, at the hour you name. Why do so many visitors start their trip at Málaga Airport?
Málaga Airport is the gateway to the Costa del Sol. According to Aena, the Spanish airport operator, it handled 26,760,549 passengers in 2025, the busiest year in its history, and 22,248,605 of them flew on international routes, with 186,990 take-offs and landings over the year.
The United Kingdom was the largest market with 6,149,697 passengers, followed by Germany with 2,012,019 and the Netherlands with 1,631,525. How does the handover at the terminal work?
Delivery to the terminal is a handover in which the car is brought to you at the airport, so there is no rental desk to find and no queue to join. One person handles the booking, the handover and any change during the rental, and the whole process takes the following steps:
- You send the car, the dates and the hour at which you want to receive it, by WhatsApp, phone, email or the request form on the car page.
- We confirm availability and the final rate the same day, in writing. No payment is taken on the website.
- On the day, the car is waiting at the terminal at the agreed hour, fuelled, valeted and photographed.
- The licence and the identity document of each driver are checked, the deposit is held on the main driver's credit card and the rental agreement is signed.
- You load your luggage and drive away.

What if you need to change the delivery hour?
Plans change, and flights do not always land when they should. For anything already booked, such as a change of hour, an extra day or help while you have the car, the fastest channel is the phone: call us and the same person who confirmed your booking adjusts it.
We answer Monday to Saturday from 9:00 to 21:00 and on Sunday from 10:00 to 18:00. Delivery and collection themselves can happen at any hour by arrangement, so an early morning arrival or a late evening flight is a matter of agreeing the time in advance rather than a reason to change your plans.
Where else can the car be delivered?
The airport is one of several delivery points, and the price is the same wherever the car meets you. The car can arrive at the terminal and be collected at your villa, or the other way round, which suits guests who land in Málaga and leave from the same airport a week later.

Can you return the car at the airport?
Yes. On the last day we collect the car from wherever you finish, and the terminal of Málaga Airport works as well as your villa or hotel. Agree the hour in advance, leave enough time for the short check of the car, and you can walk straight into departures after handing over the keys.
The fuel rule is full to full: the car arrives with a full tank and comes back full, and if it is easier we refuel it for you at the pump price. After the check the deposit is released, and the time the release takes to show on your card depends on your bank.
Which car suits an airport pickup with a family or a group?
The right car depends on how many people are travelling. For a family or a group, the Mercedes-Benz V-Class has seven seats, while SUVs such as the Range Rover Sport, the Mercedes-Benz G400 and the Lamborghini Urus seat five. Two-seaters such as the Audi R8 and the Lamborghini Huracán EVO suit a couple travelling light.
