Long term car rental in Marbella: what does a month cost?

Long term car rental in Marbella with MARBIORA has its own rate from 30 days: €150 a day for the Audi RS3 Sedan up to €900 for the Bentley Continental GT, which works out at €4,500 to €27,000 for 30 days. Against the price of a single day, the discount runs from 28% to 57%, and the month includes 4,500 km and comprehensive insurance.

How much does a month of long term car rental in Marbella cost?

A month costs from €4,500 to €27,000 depending on the car, and the sum is simple: the rate for 30 days or more, times 30. The table lists 12 coastal cars with that rate published, cheapest first. The discount compares the monthly rate with the one-day rate, and the total leaves out fuel and any extra kilometres:

Car 1 day 15 to 30 days, per day 30 days or more, per day Discount Total for 30 days
Audi RS3 Sedan €350 €250 €150 57% €4,500
Mercedes-Benz V-Class €500 €425 €350 30% €10,500
Range Rover Sport €500 €425 €350 30% €10,500
Audi R8 €650 €550 €450 31% €13,500
Mercedes-Benz G400 €650 €550 €450 31% €13,500
Mercedes-Benz GLE53 AMG €650 €550 €450 31% €13,500
Mercedes-Benz S500 4MATIC Long €700 €600 €500 29% €15,000
Mercedes-Benz G63 AMG €850 €750 €600 29% €18,000
Lamborghini Urus €1,200 €1,000 €800 33% €24,000
Lamborghini Huracán EVO €1,200 €1,100 €850 29% €25,500
Mercedes-Benz G63 AMG Brabus 800 €1,200 €1,100 €850 29% €25,500
Bentley Continental GT €1,250 €1,100 €900 28% €27,000

The percentages are rounded and come straight from the published rates. For the other cars on the coast, the rate for 30 days or more is confirmed in writing when you book. The daily price is the same on any day of the week, nothing is charged on the website, and the figure for your exact dates reaches you in writing before any payment. Our page on long term car hire on the Costa del Sol explains how a monthly rental works.

How much do you save against the one-day rate?

A long term rental is
a rental of 30 days or more with its own daily rate, the lowest on the six-step scale each car has. In 11 of the 12 cars in the table, the discount against a single day sits between 28% and 33%. The Audi RS3 Sedan falls outside that band at 57%, because it drops from €350 to €150 a day.

The difference is easier to see in euros, by pricing 30 days at the one-day rate. The Range Rover Sport would come to €15,000 and costs €10,500, so the month saves you €4,500. The Lamborghini Urus would go from €36,000 to €24,000, which is €12,000 less. And a whole month in the Audi RS3 Sedan, at €4,500, costs less than 13 days at €350.

Why can 30 days cost less than 29?

The gap between the last two steps is wide, so dates close to a month deserve a separate sum. The Range Rover Sport costs €425 a day from 15 to 30 days: 29 days come to €12,325, while 30 days at €350 come to €10,500. In the Audi RS3 Sedan, 29 days at €250 make €7,250 and 30 days at €150 make €4,500. These are sums from the published rates, and if your stay is around four weeks, ask for a price on both lengths.

What does the monthly rate include, and what costs extra?

The monthly rate includes comprehensive insurance for the whole rental, free delivery and collection, a full valet before handover, one phone number for the whole month and 4,500 km. Delivery is free in Marbella, Puerto Banús and Málaga Airport, and Sotogrande is possible on request. The following costs sit outside the rate, and each of them depends on how you use the car during the month:

  • fuel, on a full-to-full policy, or MARBIORA can refuel the car at the pump price;
  • every kilometre above the 4,500 included, at €4 or €5 depending on the car;
  • traffic fines and tolls from the rental period, along with the administrative cost of handling them;
  • if there is damage, the insurance excess, which depends on the model and appears in your booking confirmation.

If anything happens to the car during the month, tell us the same day, and MARBIORA handles the claim, the repair and the replacement. To change something on an existing booking, such as a collection time or an extra day, the phone is the quickest channel. You will have the same number and the same contact from the first day to the last.

How far do 4,500 km a month go?

The 4,500 km in a month equal 150 km a day, and the allowance is the same across the fleet. Going over costs €4 per kilometre in the Audi RS3 Sedan, Mercedes-Benz V-Class, Range Rover Sport, GLE53 AMG and S500, and €5 in the other seven cars in the table. Over a month, 1,000 extra kilometres mean €4,000 or €5,000, enough to change how the cars compare.

Run this sum before you choose if you expect long trips. In the Audi RS3 Sedan, 5,500 km in a month would cost €4,500 for the rate plus €4,000 for the excess distance, €8,500 in all. The same distance in a Lamborghini Urus would come to €29,000. Gibraltar and Portugal are possible if the trip is arranged with the insurer beforehand, with the same 150 km a day. The ferry to Morocco is not allowed.

Who does a rental of 30 days or more suit?

A monthly rental fits when your stay on the coast reaches 30 days and the distance you expect to drive stays close to 4,500 km. If you expect to go well beyond that figure, the extra kilometres weigh more than the discount. These cases follow directly from the conditions and rates above:

  • a stay of a month or more on the Costa del Sol, with the car at your villa, your hotel or the Málaga Airport terminal from day one;
  • a company renting by the month that needs an invoice, by writing to marbiora777@gmail.com with the company details and dates;
  • a group of up to seven people, in the Mercedes-Benz V-Class at €350 a day;
  • two or more people sharing the driving, since additional drivers are named on the contract and insured on the same terms;
  • anyone who would rather not drive, as a chauffeur can be arranged with any car, with the terms confirmed in writing alongside the rate.

It does not fit every plan. You cannot sublet the car, lend it out or carry passengers for money, so it will not work for driving as a job. Track days and driving courses are banned too, for a month as for a day. Anyone under 25, or with less than three years on their licence, cannot drive, although another person in the group who meets both conditions can be named as the main driver.

How is it different from a Spanish renting contract?

Renting, in Spain, is a rental contract measured in years. According to Banco Santander's guide to leasing and renting, companies generally set a minimum of 12 months and a maximum of 60, the most common contracts run for three and four years, and the contract is irrevocable by nature. A MARBIORA long term rental is agreed for specific dates from 30 days, and those dates can normally be changed, with notice periods and any charges set out in the contract.

Which car should you choose for a long rental?

The choice comes down mostly to seats and budget, because the insurance and delivery are the same for all of them. The deposit and the extra-kilometre charge do change with the model, as this table of the 12 cars shows, with the year and power taken from each car's fleet page:

Car Year Seats Power Fuel Deposit Extra km
Audi RS3 Sedan 2025 5 400 hp Petrol €4,000 €4
Mercedes-Benz V-Class 2024 7 237 hp Diesel €4,000 €4
Range Rover Sport 2024 5 530 hp Petrol €4,000 €4
Audi R8 2022 2 620 hp Petrol €5,000 €5
Mercedes-Benz G400 2024 5 330 hp Diesel €5,000 €5
Mercedes-Benz GLE53 AMG 2026 5 449 hp Petrol €4,000 €4
Mercedes-Benz S500 4MATIC Long 2021 5 435 hp Petrol €4,000 €4
Mercedes-Benz G63 AMG 2024 5 585 hp Petrol €5,000 €5
Lamborghini Urus 2023 5 666 hp Petrol €5,000 €5
Lamborghini Huracán EVO 2022 2 640 hp Petrol €5,000 €5
Mercedes-Benz G63 AMG Brabus 800 2026 5 800 hp Petrol €5,000 €5
Bentley Continental GT 2023 4 550 hp Petrol €5,000 €5

On price, the Audi RS3 Sedan stands alone at €150 a day, with five seats and 400 hp. At €350 there are two very different options: the seven-seat Mercedes-Benz V-Class and the five-seat Range Rover Sport with 530 hp, whose rates are set out in our guide to renting a Range Rover Sport in Marbella. The Audi R8, G400 and GLE53 AMG all cost €450, and only the first is limited to two seats, like the Huracán EVO.

What documents and deposit do you need?

The documents and deposit are the same for any rental length. Each driver must be 25 or older with a licence held for at least three years, and shows that licence plus a passport or ID card at handover. The deposit, €4,000 or €5,000 depending on the car, is blocked on a credit card in the main driver's name. It is not charged, and it is released once the car has been returned and checked. Our guide to the car rental deposit in Marbella covers the whole process.

If you are staying for several months, check your licence. The DGT page on driving with a foreign licence says an EU or EEA licence is valid while it is in force, and that if you move your residence to Spain you will have to exchange it. A licence from outside the EU is valid for six months at most from the date you acquire normal residence in Spain. To rent, those licences also need an international driving permit, which lasts one year.

One more detail matters if you are staying in the centre. According to Andalucia.com on the Marbella low emission zone, the zone covers the old towns of Marbella and San Pedro, with signs and cameras since December 2023, and in July 2025 the ordinance was still provisional. That page exempts, among others, hotel guests and anyone using a public car park. Fines are the renter's responsibility, so check the current position if you will be driving in every day.

How do you book a long term car rental in Marbella?

A long rental is booked the same way as a short one, with a message and a written confirmation. A request is not yet a booking, and nothing is reserved until that confirmation arrives. The form and timing of payment are also confirmed in writing before the rental starts. The process follows these steps:

  1. Choose the car and dates in the fleet, where you can compare up to three cars at once.
  2. Send the car, dates, time, delivery address and each driver's name by WhatsApp, phone or email, plus your route if you plan to go to Gibraltar or Portugal.
  3. Receive availability, the total price, the deposit and the insurance excess in writing the same day.
  4. On the agreed day, the car arrives with a full tank, clean and photographed, at your villa, your hotel, the marina or the Málaga Airport terminal.
  5. The documents are checked, the deposit is blocked and the contract is signed in about ten minutes.

When the month ends, the car is collected wherever you finish, including the airport. To get a price for your dates on any of these 12 cars, write to us from the contact page or on WhatsApp, and we will reply the same day during our opening hours.
