A Mercedes S500 Long rental in Marbella with MARBIORA costs €700 for one day, and the daily rate drops to €500 once the rental reaches 30 days. The car is a 2021 Mercedes-Benz S500 4MATIC Long with 435 hp and five seats, based in Marbella. Comprehensive insurance, free delivery and 150 km a day are part of the price, and the deposit is €4,000.

What is the Mercedes S500 4MATIC Long, and how is it different from a standard S-Class?
- The Mercedes S500 4MATIC Long
- is the long-wheelbase version of the Mercedes-Benz S-Class saloon, with all-wheel drive and a six-cylinder petrol engine. “Long” means a stretched wheelbase, and nearly all of the extra room goes to the rear seats. In a car like this, the back seat is where the person who matters usually sits.
According to the [Wikipedia article on the Mercedes-Benz S-Class (W223)](https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Mercedes-Benz_S-Class_(W223)), the long version has a 3,216 mm wheelbase and is 5,289 mm long, 110 mm more than the standard body on both counts. The same generation added 41 mm of rear legroom over the previous S-Class. A tall passenger can cross their legs in the back without touching the front seat.
Under the bonnet sits a 2,999 cc straight six with a 48-volt mild hybrid system called EQ Boost, which adds 16 kW and 250 Nm when pulling away, according to the same Wikipedia entry. Our car produces 435 hp and goes from 0 to 100 km/h in 4.9 seconds. Joining the AP-7 with four adults on board is no effort at all.
4MATIC is Mercedes-Benz's name for its all-wheel drive, which the brand has been developing since 1987, according to the Wikipedia article on 4MATIC. On the Costa del Sol the weather rarely calls for it. You will still be glad of it on the mountain road up to Ronda after rain, or on the slick ramps of an underground villa garage.
How much does it cost to rent a Mercedes S500 Long by the day, week or month?
The S500 Long rate drops across six tiers depending on how long you keep the car, and every figure already includes comprehensive insurance, delivery, collection and 150 km per day. The table shows the daily rate in October 2026, with an example of what you would pay in total for each tier:
| Rental length | Rate per day | Example total |
|---|---|---|
| 1 day | €700 | €700 |
| 2 days | €700 | €1,400 for 2 days |
| 3 to 6 days | €650 | €1,950 for 3 days |
| 7 to 14 days | €600 | €4,200 for 7 days |
| 15 to 30 days | €600 | €9,000 for 15 days |
| 30 days or more | €500 | €15,000 for 30 days |
A single day and a full month are €200 apart per day. A full week costs €4,200 and comes with 1,050 km, enough for several return trips between Marbella and Málaga Airport. A month costs €15,000 with 4,500 km. For stays of that length, the page on long-term car rental on the Costa del Sol explains how a monthly rental is invoiced to a company.
The rate is the same on any day of the week, so the Friday of a conference costs exactly what a quiet Tuesday does. The final price for your dates is confirmed in writing before any payment is made, and the website never charges you anything at any stage of the request.
Who is the S500 Long rental in Marbella really for?
The S500 Long makes sense when the person in the back matters more than the person driving. It is the saloon in our fleet built around passengers, with five seats and a roomy rear bench, and it fits some quite specific plans on the coast:
- business trips with meetings at hotels in Marbella or Puerto Banús, where a client or partner rides in the back;
- picking up guests or executives at the Málaga Airport terminal, with the luggage in the boot;
- weddings, gala dinners and events where someone wants to arrive by car and not drive home;
- longer family stays for people who prefer a low, quiet saloon to a tall SUV.
For a group of six or seven, the S500 is too small. In that case, our article on renting the Mercedes V-Class in Marbella covers the seven-seat people carrier in the fleet, which costs €500 for one day and carries the same €4,000 deposit as the S500.

Can the S500 be used for airport and hotel transfers?
Yes, as long as nobody pays for the ride. You can drive your clients, your family or your colleagues in the S500 for the whole rental. What the contract forbids is carrying passengers for money, subletting the car or handing it to someone else. Only the people named on the rental agreement may drive it.
Can you rent the Mercedes S500 Long with a chauffeur?
Yes. MARBIORA is a luxury car concierge, so a chauffeur can be arranged with any car in the fleet, the S500 Long included. Ask for one when you book and give the dates, the hours and the route, so a driver can be assigned. The chauffeur's terms are confirmed in writing together with the car's rate, before any payment.
A chauffeur suits a day of back-to-back meetings, a late-night arrival at the airport, or a dinner where nobody in the party wants to skip the wine. If you would rather drive yourself, the S500 is an easy car on the A-7 and the AP-7, with all-wheel drive and 435 hp that you feel when overtaking on the coastal hills.
What is included in the S500 Long price, and what costs extra?
The S500 Long daily rate includes comprehensive insurance for any rental length, free delivery and collection in Marbella, Puerto Banús and at Málaga Airport, a full clean before handover and a single phone number for the whole rental. It also includes 150 km a day, which works out at 450 km over three days and 1,050 km over a week.
Three things are not included. Fuel is full to full: the car arrives with a full tank and goes back full, and if that is easier for you it can be refuelled at the pump price. Each kilometre above the daily 150 costs €4. Traffic fines and tolls during the rental are paid by the renter, along with the cost of processing them.

How does the €4,000 deposit work?
The S500 Long deposit is €4,000, a thousand euros less than on the Lamborghinis or the Mercedes G63s in the fleet. The amount is blocked on a credit card in the main driver's name, held without being charged, and released once the car is back and has been checked. The insurance excess is a separate figure, depends on the model and appears in the booking confirmation. Our guide to how the deposit works on a luxury car rental in Marbella walks through every step.
What do you need to drive the S500 Long?
Every driver must be 25 or older and have held a licence for at least three years. At handover we check each driver's licence and passport or national ID, plus the credit card of the main driver. If your licence was issued outside the European Union, you will also need an International Driving Permit.
Additional drivers are insured on the same terms as the main driver, which helps on a company trip where two people share the driving. You only need to send their names before handover. Trips to Gibraltar or Portugal must be agreed in advance, and the ferry to Morocco is not allowed with any car in the fleet.
How do you book the Mercedes S500 Long, step by step?
You book the S500 Long by message or by phone, and the booking is final once we confirm it in writing. A request is not yet a booking, and no payment is taken on the website. The process has five steps:
- Open the page for the Mercedes-Benz S500 4MATIC Long in Marbella and pick your dates.
- Send the request by WhatsApp, phone, email or through the MARBIORA contact page, with the delivery address, the time and the names of all drivers. If you want a chauffeur, say so here.
- Get a written confirmation the same day with the total price, the deposit and the insurance excess.
- Receive the car at your villa, hotel or the airport terminal, with a full tank, cleaned and photographed. Handover takes about ten minutes.
- When you are done, the car is collected wherever you are, and the deposit is released after the check.
If you are flying in, our guide to car delivery at Málaga Airport explains what happens when a flight is late: one phone call, and the same person who confirmed your booking moves the handover time. The car can also be handed back at the terminal at the end of your stay.
