Renting a Porsche 911 GT3 in Marbella costs €1,100 for one day. The car is a 2026 model with 510 hp and two seats, and it reaches 100 km/h from rest in 3.4 seconds. The alternative is the 2026 992 Carrera 4S Targa, with 480 hp and four seats, at €800 a day. If you were hoping to rent a GT3 RS for a day, it is better to know straight away: there is no GT3 RS in our Costa del Sol fleet.
Can you rent a Porsche 911 GT3 RS in Marbella?
Not from us, and we would rather say so before you send a request. The Costa del Sol fleet has two 911s, the GT3 and the 992 Carrera 4S Targa, and both are based in Marbella. Neither is an RS. If your search was for a GT3 RS for a day, the closest thing we can offer is the 510 hp two-seater for a full day.
The gap between the two versions is real. According to the Wikipedia article on the 911 GT3, the 992-generation GT3 RS makes 525 PS, is sold only with the PDK dual-clutch gearbox and generates about 860 kg of downforce at 285 km/h. That much downforce only pays off on a circuit, and circuit use is not allowed on a rental, as explained further down.
What is the 911 GT3, and how does it differ from the Carrera 4S Targa?
- The 911 GT3
- is the naturally aspirated version of the 911, built for both the circuit and the road. Porsche's official launch release for the new 911 GT3 describes a 4.0-litre six-cylinder boxer with no turbo, 510 PS and 450 Nm, offered with a 7-speed PDK or a 6-speed manual. The standard cabin is a two-seater.
The Carrera 4S Targa is a different kind of car. Porsche's release on the 911 Carrera 4S and Targa 4S lists a 3.0-litre twin-turbo boxer with 480 PS, all-wheel drive, an 8-speed PDK and rear-axle steering as standard. The Targa body comes only with all-wheel drive and has rear seats, which is why our fleet lists it with four seats.

How does the Targa roof work?
The Targa roof opens fully automatically: according to the manufacturer, the car goes from closed to open in 19 seconds. On the Costa del Sol that is a practical format, because you can drive with the roof off along the coast in the morning and close it on the way back at night, without giving up the four seats. At handover, which takes about ten minutes including an exterior check, you can ask to be shown how the mechanism works.
How much does it cost to rent a Porsche in Marbella for a day?
For both cars the website shows the one-day price, which is the same on any day of the week, weekends included. The rate for longer hires, the deposit and the extra-kilometre charge are confirmed in writing when you book, before any payment. October 2026 prices, alongside the fleet data:
| Detail | Porsche 911 GT3 | Porsche 992 Carrera 4S Targa |

The two cars are €300 apart for one day. For that money the two-seater gives you 30 hp more, a tenth of a second off the sprint and a naturally aspirated engine; the Targa gives you two extra seats and an open roof. Our guide to how the security deposit works on a luxury car hire explains how the amount is blocked on your credit card and when it is released.
The terms are the same for both cars in this comparison and do not change with the length of the hire. Fuel is extra and works full to full, and traffic fines and tolls during the hire are paid by the renter. The daily rate includes:
- comprehensive insurance for any hire length, with an excess that depends on the model and is stated in the confirmation;
- 150 km a day, which adds up to 1,050 km a week;
- free delivery and collection in Marbella, Puerto Banús and at Málaga Airport;
- a full clean before handover;
- one phone number for the whole hire.
Can you take the GT3 on a track day?
No. The rental terms rule out track days, driving courses and any competition use, private track days included, and the rule applies to every car in the fleet, this 911 included. The car is rented for the open road, with comprehensive insurance designed for that use.
For the version with the rear wing, the manufacturer offers a no-cost Clubsport package with a bolted rear roll cage, a six-point harness for the driver and a hand-held fire extinguisher, according to the official release. That kit shows what the model was designed for, but it does not change the rental agreement. Our car is listed with two seats, and what you rent is a sports car for the roads, the coast and the hills of Málaga province.
Which of the two 911s suits you?
The choice comes down to how many people are travelling and what you want to spend per day. The open roof settles the rest. The two-seater is for whoever wants the most uncompromising 911 in the fleet; the Targa is for enjoying the coast in more comfort. These profiles should help:
- A day alone or as a couple, all about the driving. The GT3, for its 510 hp, its naturally aspirated engine and its two seats.
- A family with two children. The Targa, with four seats and all-wheel drive.
- Coastal drives with the roof open. The Targa, which opens in 19 seconds.
- A tighter budget. The Targa, at €800 a day against €1,100 for the two-seater.
- A trip of several days. Either car, with the rate for your dates confirmed in writing.
If you want to see other cars at the same level, our guide to supercar rental in Marbella brings together the other sports cars in the fleet with their daily prices. The fleet comparison tool puts up to three models side by side with price, power, acceleration, seats and deposit.

Can you rent a Porsche in Málaga?
Yes, at the Málaga Airport terminal. Delivery and collection there are free, just as they are at a villa, a hotel or a marina in Marbella and Puerto Banús. The car waits at the terminal with a full tank, cleaned and photographed, and at the end of the hire you can return it at the same airport if you agree the time in advance.
Delivery to other addresses, including the city of Málaga, is considered on request, and the terms are confirmed in writing when you book. Sotogrande is also possible on request. Our guide to luxury car rental in Málaga explains how delivery works across the province and which cars are available there.
How do you book the car, and which documents do you need?
Nothing is paid on the website: the price, the deposit and the insurance excess are confirmed in writing before handover. The minimum hire is one day and there is no hourly rental, so a GT3 for a day means a full day. The steps are the same for the Porsche 911 GT3 and the Porsche 992 Carrera 4S Targa:
- Choose the car and your dates on its page or in the fleet.
- Send a request by WhatsApp, phone, email or the form on the car's page, with the delivery address and time.
- Get a same-day confirmation with the rate, the deposit and the insurance excess.
- At handover, your documents are checked, the deposit is blocked on the main driver's credit card and you sign the agreement.
- At the end, we collect the car wherever you are.
Every driver must be 25 or older and have held a licence for at least three years. At handover you need the licence, a passport or ID card and a credit card in the main driver's name, and licences issued outside the EU also need an International Driving Permit. Gibraltar and Portugal are possible if agreed with the insurer in advance.
